Sally Browne
My current work is characterised by a deep appreciation for experimentation and spontaneity. Inspiration for my work stems from various sources, including architecture, botanical forms and landscapes that reside in my unconscious mind. I am interested in the material aspects of painting and the interaction of colours. Guided by the evolving dialogue between myself and the canvas, I intuitively respond to each new mark as it emerges in the moment, through this dynamic interplay, I invite viewers to embark on a visual journey where the boundaries between representation and abstraction, and intention and chance dissolve.
